I had never seen Monarchs on Sapelo before and I have been traveling yearly to Sapelo Island for over two decades so this was a pleasant surprise. I knew they migrated through Georgia and I have seen a few here and there in other parts of the state but the large number on the one groundsel tree (I think that is the plant) was just astounding. The students were impressed as well!
