I have had a hummingbird hang around since approx August 2023. The color of this hummingbird is green and brown. I named him/ her "Baby" and I have become quite attached to Baby. I have had the pleasure of seeing this hummer ward off other hummers from the feeders I have in the back yard and now the front yard as well. Baby comes to me when I call out Baby" Baby ". I get to see the bond we have built these past months. I enjoy watching Baby come and be right next to me and enjoying the nectar I make for 5 feeders now.. I love it.. I didnt realize just how important it was to report the sightings. And have seen a Red throat at my feeders as well as one little one that was black with a little yellow and pinkish color.
