Saw my first monarch today. It’s a girl!!! She spent a couple hours searching low for milkweed. Milkweed up 1-3” aside from butterfly weed just emerging. Many eggs laid in patches of swamp and whorled. Found a few leaves with 2 and 3 eggs.
