I have not seenn any adults yet (saw my first in 2023 April 17) but came home and found this! Not positive the species since it came up from a sucker and none of the milkweed in the bed nearby are supposed to be suckerers, but Asclepias speciosa (Showy) is most likely. None found on the 3ft tall plants of showy or Purple, but on an 8 inch plant. Go figure!
