  • challenge question #6-humpback whales

    OHS Science Lab (ohssci@gnv.fdt.net)

    Oak Hall School, Gainesville, Fl

The major group of humpback whales is first the female whales and
their young, then the non-pregnant females and the males, and last would
    come the pregnant females.
The females and their young go first because the females need a lot of
food to nurse their young. The non-pregnant females and males go next
because the males are attracted to the non-pregnant females. The pregnant
go last because they're tired.[our pregnant teacher told us to put
    this.]
