    Dear Journey North,
    Our answer to, "Why do you think that the scientists mobilized quickly
    to conduct the aerial survey when the cold front arrived?" is this: We
    know that manatees like warm weather, and we know that when the cold front
    comes, manatees would want to move south. So the scientists went quickly so
    they could see the full migration of the manatees.
