    Challenge Question #2
"How many more manatees were counted in January, 1997 than were
counted in February, 1997? What percent change is this? What
reasons does Dr. Ackerman give for this difference?"

520 more manatees were counted in January 1997 than in
February 1997. This is a 23 percent change. Dr. Ackerman's
reason for the difference is that because it is winter and
there is a cold front, there aren't as many manatees around.

I live in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania. I am 12 years old and my
birthday is June 22, 1984. I like to swim, ride my bike, and
do stuff with my friends. I have two dogs, two cats, a fish,
    and a bird.
