    Challenge Question #8

Question: "Why do you think that mainly adult manatees died from the red
    tide and not young manatees?"

Answer: I think it was mainly adults that died because the young manatee's
central nervous systems aren't fully developed yet. If their central
nervous systems aren't developed yet the dinoflagellates in the red tides
    can't harm them.
