We noticed that classes #3 and #6 had not reached an equal amount of sunlight
and darkness yet. We brainstormed ideas of why this might be. Perhaps the data
was incorrect, but probably not. Since we know that the earth wobbles on its
axis due to the moon’s gravitational pull on the earth, maybe those classes did
not achieve the equinox on March 20 because on that particular day they were
wobbled onto a position that received less light.
