    In Arizona, we have no native groundhogs - nor any mammal that closely
    corresponds to them. Thus, we have our own "messenger" of the extent of
    winter: "Aqua Fria Freddy" is a rattlesnake who makes predictions for us!

    Becuase Freddy is an ectotherm, he actually proves to be quite accurate!
