    To Whom It May Concern:

My name is Danny and I have been asked by my science class to
answer this challenge question. After investigating the groundhog, I
have found that the Groundhog does not truly hibernate where I live in
sounthern east Tennessee. The groundhog will spend a few days in his
burrow if the weather becomes extremely cold. The groundhogs are
presently out and about here. Several of my classmates have spotted
    groundhogs along roadsides, etc.

    Thank you,

    Danny
