We think that the answer to the challenge question #2 is because of
the coastal climate and the warm winds coming up off the shores of the
ocean. The winds can come up through the coastal states and in the
southeast and southwestern parts of the country. We are writing you
from Maryville Middle School in Maryville, TN. Our science teacher is
Mrs. McGIngley.
