    The North American Groundhog covers a lot of territory over the United States and Canada. Groundhogs can be found as far north as Alaska and as far south as Tennessee. Groundhogs can be found anywhere in Canada except for Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland. Groundhogs are one of the few animals that benefit from the cutting down of forest and woodland. Below is a list of provinces and states where you can find Groundhogs:
