    Maps and Books

A recommended series of books/visual novels to complement the Caribou
this spring: 1) Lost in the Barrens and 2) Curse of the Viking Grave
by Farley Mowat. Both are available in book and video format. The
setting is the barrens of Northern Manitoba and S. NWT where the
caribou herd take on a significant part of the story. Good for Grades
6-8. I can provide more information if requested.

Also, the air navigation charts for this area can still be ordered for
mapping (on a very precise scale) the Barrenground Caribou herd. I had
to reorder them last week as I discovered them to be missing from my
JN Reources. If needed, they can be ordered from the Canada Map Office
    (1-800-465-6277) in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
The phone number is valid for all of North America I believe.
If not, send me an email and I will inquire from here for you.
They will deliver them in a week!
