My grade 5-6 class in Trenton Ontario have had such a great time working
on the tulip activities! One thing we have learned that we must share
with everyone- our estimate about the date our tulips will bloom was
slightly inaccurate. Following discussion with several local gardiners,
and through individual research, we would like to change our prediction
to May 4. Thanks to all the classes who have been communicating with us!
We have a new appreciation for the map of North America, and we have
become very good at reading latitude and longitude, and at prediciting
weather from a weather map!
