    Redwing Blackbird Migration

    Dear fellow educators,

We are specifically monitoring the Redwing Blackbird's arrival here in
Northern Illinois. We have a unique glacial area which is at the
southern tip of the "Kettle Morraine" area which is primarily up in
the southeastern Wisconsin area. We have a large "Chain 'o Lakes"
region surrounded by wetland marshes and ponds. We have plotted the
dates for the last 5 years and would be interested in where they are
at this time and when they will arrive. We anticipate that they will
be arriving within the week or by the second week in March. If any of
you are to the south of us we would appreciate any email or contact to
let us know where they are and where they came from. Thank you for
    your consideration.
