    Re: Spring anywhere?

    Hi,

Yes, it is spring in Crested Butte, CO. The red-winged blackbirds
are back and a robin is in town. The snow is melting and ice and mud are
showing up in many places. The sun is out, noses are getting sunburn, kids
are especially restless and ornery, the snow crystals on south facing
aspects are bigger (corn), etc. Yesterday's temperatures got up to 43
degrees F and only got down to 13!! It could snow two or three feet at any
time and the flowers won't start blooming and the trees won't start leaving
until May, at least, but it is definitely spring!!
