question from an interested hummingbird watcher

I am wondering wheather there is any truth to the story about how
hummingbirds fly south. I live in Ontario,Canada and I love watching the
hummingbirds come to my feeder. Recently I have been told on more than one
occasion that the hummingbird flies south by flying under the wings of the
Canada Goose as it migrates. Is there any truth to this.

Thank you in advance for clarification.
