While making copies tonight of my last tagging records to send into the Mon=
arch Watch, I took a browse through two Canadian periodical indexes at a ne=
arby public library. I note the following butterfly articles:

    - Shawn Carleson writes about The Monarch Watch and The Monarch Program in =
a two page article found in the September 1997 issue of Scientific American=
. Entitled =22Unraveling the Secrets of Monarchs=22, he writes in his colum=
    n entitled =22The Amateur Scientist=22 (pages 90-91)

    - Harrowsmith Magazine - July/Aug 1997 issue - apparently has an article on=
pages 34 - 41 about attracting butterflies. The article is entitled, =22Gu=
ests in the Garden=22. Mother Earth News also has a similar article about a=
ttracting butterflies in its September 1997 issue (page 10 - 11)

Pamela Hickman may have written a new book for children entitled, =22New Bu=
tterfly - My First Look at Metamorphosis=22. I have no further information =
but am curious to know which butterfly is used to illustrate metamorphosis=
    =21

Windsor, Ontario - near Point Pelee National Park - was the warmest spot in=
    Canada yesterday at 27 C=21
