Question Number#6

I have a fatuation with loons because of my many trips up to Quetico
National Park, so I was very excited when I found your web-site. I'm
always eager to learn more about the wonderful graceful common loon. I
have no clue on any of the answers, but I thought I'd give one a try
anyways. They keep there mouth open because they are calling in they air.

I also had a quick little question I was wondering about. I've also heard
that when a loon calls in flight that it is a sign that it will rain in the
next 24 hours. I was just wondering if this is true or just a myth told
generation after generation. If you know of any more loon sites I would
love to know where more can be found.

Loon Lover,

Laura
