Hi, We have the answer to your challenge question. We have found that
a monarch's food is the same all year round it eats nectar from plants.
When eating the nectar it also pollinates the plant. the monach does
this during spring through summer. When it starts getting cold out the
monarchs move south to Mexico where they will pollinate plants and eat
nectar. In the spring the monarchs return again
