To find this out we said that Carmen's family spends 30 pesos a week. Since there are 52 weeks in a year, we multiplied them and got an answer of 1,560 pesos that Carmen's family spent in a year. Since there are 8 people in Carmen's family, we divied 1,560 by 8 and came out of a final answer of 150 pesos that Carmen's family spends per person per year.
