Challenge Question # 6

Our class has enjoyed getting involved in the monarch migration. We
thought if the butterflies take off too late they may get lost or the
female may want to lay eggs before she finishes her journey and there may
not be milkweed for the babies. If they leave too early they may die
because there are not enough flowers, it will still be too cold, they will
move slower and not have enough energy to make the complete journey.
Because we had some nice springlike days in early February (up to 50
degrees) the warm weather could fake them out and they would die when the
weather got colder again. Right now it is around 30 degrees each day and
down to 0 degrees at night

wishing you sunshine and rainbows
