WAVES-robin

Fredde/Lauraine (frblab@whidbey.com)

Greetings
5 am morning of March 3, 1998, I heard the first busy robin chatter and by
late this afternoon they were evident in swooping numbers over the
roadways. This is in the Puget Sound, Useless Bay on Whidbey Island,
(frblab@whidbey.com). Also, the red wing blackbird arrived in large numbers
here last week, 2 months earlier than usual. Loons have wintered over here
but I have seen no more than 4-6 at a time. The wetlands are consistently
loud each night with frogs already.
