Our tulips are blooming

Dear Journey North,

Our tulips have bloomed. The first one bloomed on march 4. 1998 and now
many are blooming. Six out of seven barrels are blooming. There are 19
plants blooming. Most of our tulips are healthy looking , but some kindo
of dead looking. They are bright red, white and pinkish in color. They
range in height from 1 inch to 10 1/2 inches. There is more than one tulip
on a plant. The leaves are long and thick. The widest leaf is five inches
wide. The weather was sunny and warm last week , but now the storms have
returned. They smell good.

Other signs of Spring include birds signing, warmer weather, other flowers
blooming, grass is greener, butterfly sightings, more animals and insects
stirring.

Sincerely,
