Mr. Larson's and Ms. Lara's classes from DeMiguel Elementary School, in
Flagstaff, Arizona, think the monarchs will reach the sanctuary in
Mexico in ten days, on September 16, 2001. We came up with this number
because they traveled about 2-3 states a week, so it appears on the map,
as if the distance from the tip of Texas to the sactuaries is about 4
states' distance.
