Next message: Joan Raybourn: "Challenge Question #1"
We think the answer to challenge question #2 is 57,706 butterflies.
First, we multiplied 2,215 by 22 and got 48,730. That is the number of
butterflies after the first day. Then we divided 2,215 by 87 to find
that one person could process 25.5 envelopes in one hour. On day 1, 16
hours were spent processing, so 16 X 25.5 is 408 envelopes on Day 1.
408 X 22 gives us 8,976 butterflies. We added that to our original 48,
730 to get our final answer.
