    Dear Peter Nye,
Our class is participating in the Journey North Project. Our class is split up into groups. Our group is studying bald eagles. We live in Northern New York. A member in our group lives on the St. Lawrence River in Morristown. He has been seeing bald eagles on American Island which is right in front of his house for four years. There are five eagles on the Island that he has spotted.
Are they tagged? We were also wondering why the eagles are moving . I have been watching and there is plenty of food for them,so why do they leave? Is there a way to tell a Native New York eagle from an Alaskan eagle? Sincerely,Chris,Bill, Rhyan and Jacob.
