    Bringing other breeds of whale from various feeding grounds together
    into the breeding ground is good, because they can become social with
    other whales and offer shelter to new mothers and calves. Also, for
    food catching. A large mixed population of whales is good for breeding
    purposes in order to limit inbreeding, so mothers don't breed with their
    calves and therefore, to keep the gene pool strong.
