I think that maybe Brians tag could be "off" (not giving signals) because
it may have been struck against a hard object, such as a rock or boat or
another manatee (they are in the same area, you know). Electrical things can
be broken when struck hard.
Calista's tag maybe in the same location because it may have given birth
to a calf. Calista is female and it says that she had recently grown alot
since her recovery. Or her satellite transmitter may have been pulled off
and caught on something.
