    Yes, spring does move northward. A way you can prove this is that when
    days are getting shorter as they go south of the equator, they get
    longer as they move north of the equator. When days are getting shorter,
    that means that winter is coming. When days are getting longer, that
    means that spring is coming.Therefore, when days are getting longer
    moving northward, spring is moving northward.
