Mrs. Sollock's 5th grade class used the 1990 census population totals to
calculate how many states in which people could receive a butterfly. We
live in Texas, and based on our population 5,611,500 people would not
receive a butterfly. On the other hand, we combined 3 states population
to total the 11,375,000. Try it! Combine the populations of Rhode
Island, New Hampshire, and Michigan (Hint: round all numbers to the
    nearest hundred thousand)
