    Three reasons why it might be risky for a monarch to travel as far north
    as CT this early in the spring:

    If they fall down a snake might eat them because the monarchs are
    smaller than a snake.

    It storms a lot in Connecticut and they (the butterflies) panic when the
    clouds cover the sun.

    Monarch butterflies might not have any nectar or nothing to sip up.
