         There are two important reasons a vegetation map is helpful when analyzing Monarch migration.(1) Monarchs need to drink nectar from flowers so it's important to have flowers when they arrive and (2)They lay eggs on Milkweed so they need Milkweed there when they arrive so they can start a new generation.Also,the temperature has to be just right.
