    Precipitation affects monarchs bacause that delays their journey north.
    Cold temperatures affect them because when it gets too cold they can't
    move. That's why they never go overmountains, the air is too cold. So
    temperatures and precipitation do affect monarchs. Dew might affect
    monarchs because the plants they land on, that have dew on them, might
    be to cold for them. So it is important to measure precipitation and the
    amount of dew.
