Our robin group thinks the answer to challenge question # 21 is this:

A robin has to eat three worms a day just to be able to breathe. Just to keep active the robin would have to eat twice as much, or six worms. So every robin would need to eat nine worms altogether a day.

Robins choose nightcrawlers over smaller worms because a smaller worm will not have 0.7 calories. So it makes a day harder for a robin because it will have to find more than nine worms to have enough calories.
