    Dear Journey North,

    We, Mrs. Howley?s class, think the anwser to question #1 is that the
    scientists can tell one whale from another by looking at their flukes
    for any marks, scars, color, or notches bitten out of it.
    We are pretty sure of this becuase we live by a harbor, we see lots of
    whales. Lukily, we are on the migratory route in Southwest Harbor, ME.
