because native plants have adapted to the climate of
their region because they have lived there for so long. They think that
thier is nothing wrong with thier tempeture and store water.They have taught
themselves to ignore some of the temperature increases of temperature so
that they do not freeze when weather drops back to its normal, colder
temperatures
