CHRISTMAS PUDDING GRANDPA MEDCALF
1 Cup each:
Carrots (shredded)
Potatoes (shredded)
Flour
Sugar
Butter (size of an egg)
2 Teaspoons soda
1 Teaspoon cinnamon
1 Teaspoon nutmeg
1 Cup raisons
1 Cup Currents
Mix well and put into small coffee can, steam till done.
Serve with Christmas Pudding Sauce.
Sauce for Christmas Pudding
2 Cubes of Butter Cream
1 Cups Brown Sugar
1 egg yoke, slightly beaten
1 cup grape juice
1 dash of nutmeg
This pudding was made every year for the Medcalf family by Grandpa and given at Christmas.
