Dear Journey North,
My group of 3rd graders thinks that there might be several reasons for the humpbacks to be attracted to the area around the Dominican Republic. We think there must be a lot of food. We also think that there aren't any predators. We also think that it must be a quiet place so that little ones can keep track of their mothers.
