Amanda, Josh and Kelley from North Albany Elem. 5th grade respond: Time
is man made so it doesn't matter what time the sun rises and sets, it
matters how long it stays up. If it's 6:23 when the sun rises and 6)3
when it sets, but since it's daylight savings time it becomes 7:23 when
the sun rises and 7:03 when it sets; the photo period is still 12 hours
and 20 minutes.
