On the temperature map it looks like there ins a warm front coming in from
the southeast, but it stops when it hits the Appalachian Mountains. To get
past the mountain range, the air must rise, and as it rises, it cools. By the
time the front reaches the other side of the mountain range, it isn't warm
anymore. Robins and tulips are out along the east coast because that''s where
the warm temperatures are.
