Hi Journey North,
Our fifth grade class has an ice-out guess for Walden Pond on March
18th. We looked at all the ice-out dates from the 1800's and the 1900's
and found the median dates for ice-out. Then we read about what the
weather was like in Massachusetts... and finally we made our guess.
We go to school in Southwest Harbor, Maine which is on a small island
called Mount Desert Isalnd.
