Next message: Jody Pontious: "Challenge Question #6, Grade 3"
Hello from the Explorer Team at Pennridge South Middle School in
Perkasie, Pennsylvania. My first period class has been trying
to find mystery sites #1 and #2. Dr. Darlene S. Jones
Mystery Site #1
We believe that our group is at Homer, Alaska. This is the
USA.It is located at 59.7 degrees North and 151.5 degrees West.
The clues that they gave us helped a lot. Kachemak bay has the
2nd largeest tides in the world. One of the clues said that. We
went on the internet and we went to www.homeralaska.com. The web
site said "welcome to the end of the road". One of the clues
said this so that clue helped us a lot.
Mystery Site #2
We believe that group 2's mystery location is the town of
Amundsen-Scott. This town is on the south pole of Antarctica and
the town is an American settlement/ research facility at 90
degrees South,0 degrees in any direction. Why are there no dogs
allowed? We knew it was Amundsen-Scott as soon as you said that
you can turn around 360 degrees and go all around the world. We
are looking forward to your
