We had a lot of fun searching the globe (and the Internet and the library)
for these locations. The students really used many different skills and
sources. It was especially helpful at first for us to track our own coming
of spring to Connecticut by using sunrise and sunset data. That gave us some
perspective on the locations of the other classes. Did their graph look
like ours? How was it different from ours? This was our second year
participating and I think we learned a lot from last year's experience.
Thank you for providing us with such an interesting lesson. We also involved
parents and staff at our school who supported us in our searches.
