A calf weighs 2000lb.as a newborn. It gains 60 to 70lb. a day. In two months,we multiplied 65x62 because we added 31+31 and got 62 days. Then we got 4030lbs..Next, we added 4030lb. to the 2000lb.,as a newborn and arrived at 6030lbs. A calf weighs 6030lbs. in two months! A calf needs to gain weight because it needs to be warm for their cold and long trip up north.
