There are several reasons why the Ignacio Lagoon is a safe place for baby
whales. The lagoon is safe from killer whales that might attack the
babies. The lagoon has warm waters so that the babies can stay warm at all
times. The babies are safe in the lagoon from the males mating time.
Finally, the shawllow water keep the babies safe from strong currents.
