    We think that the reason that there are more manatees migrating later in the year is because the temperatures are dropping. the manatees need warmer water to live in, so when the water gets chilly, they leave and go to a warmer location. the trends in the data are that as the year gets closer to ending, and the temperatures drop drastically, this means that more manatees will be migrating.
