There are several reasons why not all places on Earth recieve 12 hours
of daylight and night during the Equinox. One of these reasons is
because they may be seen and recorded improperly. Another reason is
because of refraction of the sunlight through the atmosphere, causing
a distorted image, but affecting sunrise and sunset nonetheless.
