Isabella said, "this project was hard, but fun. I liked using the globe. I like geography. I think it was fun to learn how to search on the computer. I liked finding things out about the different countries. I also liked solving the clues."
Susie thought this was a really great project which did an excellent job of being fun while integrating many different subjects. I also like the fact that it was expandable in the sense that if a location had things about it that appealed to a student even though it was not necessarily associated with this project, the student could take off researching and learning about that. Also, it really gave Isabella a sense of connectedness to kids in other places when we were focused on solving their clues and on the time that the sun was rising for them in contrast to us. Also, I personally really thought Ice Camp Borneo was a really exciting place to include. Thank you all for making such a great learning site for children and parents/teachers.
